Guideline setting
Your policies, authored by your people and held as the operating rules. Thresholds, segments, what must always be referred. Versioned, and changeable in an afternoon rather than a release cycle.
The market default is AI that recommends. LiteCone is AI that decides, inside boundaries you write, with the exceptions coming back to you and nothing else. Accountability stays where it already sits, with you.
The term is ours, so here is exactly what it commits us to.
Co-Decision means the agent makes the decision, inside boundaries you set, and accountability stays with you. You decide which cases it may take, on what policy, and where it has to stop. It decides those and acts on them. Everything outside comes back to you. You can widen the boundary, narrow it, or reverse any single decision, at any time.
| You decide | The policy, the thresholds, the segments, and how much autonomy the agent gets. It is a dial, not a switch. |
| It decides | The cases that sit inside those boundaries, with the reasoning and the citation written as it goes. |
| It refers | Everything outside them, with the reason it stopped attached to the file. |
| You keep | The override on every decision, and the right to narrow or pause any agent without a change request. |
| The market default | Co-decider, LiteCone | |
|---|---|---|
| What it produces | A suggestion, a draft or a risk score. | A completed decision, and the next action taken. |
| The human role | Reviews and decides on every single case. | Sets the policy once, then reviews only flagged exceptions. |
| What it scales | Speeds up one person's work. | Multiplies the institution's decisioning capacity. |
| Where control sits | With the human, exercised case by case, which means opening every one. | With you, exercised as policy. Set once, adjustable at any time, and applied to every case the same way. |
Risk committees ask how this is governed before they ask anything else. The answer is that control sits in three places, all of them yours, and none of them requires you to open every case.
Your policies, authored by your people and held as the operating rules. Thresholds, segments, what must always be referred. Versioned, and changeable in an afternoon rather than a release cycle.
How much the system runs on its own, set by you and adjustable at any time. Widen it where the evidence supports it, narrow it or pause an agent entirely without raising a change request.
Every case cites the policy line it was decided under, stays grounded in your data and your manual, and leaves an auditable log in the form an examiner asks for.
Governance is not a report generated after the quarter. It is written as the decision is made, which is the only version that survives scrutiny.
You set how much runs on its own, and change it whenever you choose.
Every step and every input retained, in the form an examiner asks for.
Cited to the policy you set, line by line.
Same input, same answer, every time, and provably so.
Grounded in your data and your manual. Nothing invented in the gap.
We would rather answer it in the first meeting than discover it in month four.
